Francisco Serra, PhD in Economics and Management Sciences (with Doctor Europeo mention), is Professor Coordenador at University of Algarve's School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism (ESGHT). Between 1989 and 2000, he held various professional positions, such as hotel manager and was an entrepreneur in the area of hospitality; 2004-2006, a member of the Board of Directors of ESGHT; 2006-2011, a member of the Board of Directors of Hospital de Faro; 2012-2016, Director of ESGHT; since June 2016, President of the Coordinating Committee for the Regional Development of the Algarve, and President of the AAA Euro Region (Alentejo, Algarve and Andalucía). geral@ccdr-alg.pt
