Luis Nobre Pereira, with PhD in Quantitative Methods Applied to Economics and Management, is Professor of Applied Quantitative Methods at School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the University of Algarve, Portugal. Vice President resident of the Research Centre for Tourism, Sustainability and Well-being (CinTurs), he is also serving as President of the Technical-Scientific Council of the School. His research interests include data science techniques applied to Social Sciences (economics and management). Currently he is conducting research on tourism management (sustainable tourism, tourism competitiveness, tourism demand modelling, and decision support system) and hospitality management (hotel demand forecasting, revenue management, dynamic pricing, and segmentation). lmper@ualg.pt
