Pedro Lopes is the head of Algarve Region of Portugal in Pestana Group. His function includes direct management of seven hotels with 1,408 rooms/apartments keys and five golf courses in the region. He is Vice President of the Regional Hotel and Tourism Association, President of the Portimão Tourism Association, a member of the University of Algarve Board of Advisors, and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Regional Development Agency. His BS is business management (Catholic University of Lisbon and MS in economics and business (University of Algarve) as well as a certificate in Strategic management (Cornell University).
