Alfonso Morvillo is Director of the Institute for Research on Innovation and Services for Development (IRISS) of the National Research Council of Italy. His research interests include innovation in services, entrepreneurship and technology transfer, knowledge transfer, supply chain management, shipping and port strategy, destination management and local development. He has been scientific coordinator of many research projects and member of Editorial Board of national and international journals. He is also member of academic and practitioner associations in tourism, transport and logistics field.
