Leonídio Paulo Ferreira studied Social Communication at the University of Lisbon and holds a MA in American Studies. At present, he is finishing a Phd in History. Working at Diário de Notícias since 1992, nowadays he is the Editor-in-Chief of this newspaper founded in 1864. As a journalist, his field of specialization is International Politics, and also has interests in Economics, Culture and Social Affairs.
