João Fernandes is President of Algarve Tourism Board, President of Algarve Tourism Association, and Vice-president of Algarve Music Association. Since June 2016, he is also a coordinator of Tourist and cultural Entertainment Program. Among other positions, he was Vice-president of Algarve Tourism Board, Algarve Tourism Association; President of Rota Vicentina General Assembly; member of Municipal Tourism Council at Faro Town Hall; Spokesman of Fiscal Council and  Member of General Assembly of Energy and Environment Regional Agency of Algarve, Chairman of Hotel and Tourism Business Schools and Coordinator for Evaluation and Certification at New Opportunities Centre of Professional Training in Faro. turismodoalgarve@turismodoalgarve.pt
