Efigénio da Luz Rebelo is Full Professor of quantitative methods applied to economics and business, Dean of Faculty of Economics, University of Algarve, Portugal, with PhD in economics, MA in econometrics, University of Manchester, and MSc in mathematics, University of Lisbon. After being an integrated researcher in Center for Spatial and Organizational Dynamics, he became an invited member of Center for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics. His publications are mainly in the fields of theoretical econometrics and applied statistics. Recently he became a member of the Directive Board of the Regional Operational Program for the Algarve and a member of the National Economic and Social Council. elrebelo@ualg.pt
