PROFESSOR GUALBERTO BUELA CASAL

He graduated in psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Doctor in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid, was researcher at CIDE, Ministry of Education and Science and professor at the University of Malaga, University of Jaen, University of California and currently he is director of a research group at the University of Granada. He has published more than 20 books and over 200 articles in scientific journals, mostly in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR). He has directed 20 doctoral theses. He is Director of Graduate Program with Quality Mention: Research Design and Applications in Psychology and Health, which was awarded the AUIP International Quality Award Doctorate. He is currently President of the Spanish Association of Cognitive Behavioral Psychology (AEPC).

He is visiting professor at universities in several countries, including the University of the Algarve since 2006, where he has been collaborating in the Master of Clinical Psychology and Health and PhD in Psychology.

PROFESSOR JUAN TOBAL

Doctor of Psychology (1985) by the UCM. Currently, he is Professor of Dept. of Basic Psychology (Cognitive Processes). Director of the Master in Emotional Intelligence and Intervention Emotions and Health and Expert in Intervention Anxiety and Stress at the Complutense University of Madrid.

He is visiting professor at universities in several countries, including the University of the Algarve since 2006, where he has been collaborating in the Master of Clinical Psychology and Health and PhD in Psychology.

Published scientific works: more than 200, including books, monographs, book chapters and articles in journals, highlighting the Inventory of Situations and Responses of Anxiety-ISRA- that has been adapted to more than 20 countries.

Other relevant scientific data and professional character:

Past-President and Board Member of the Stress and Anxiety Research Society (STAR);

Founding Member and Honorary President of the Spanish Society for the Study of Anxiety and Stress (SEAS);

Member of the Governing Board and Member of Clinical Psychology and Health of the College of Psychologists of Madrid (COP) (1996-2001) and Representative in the Task Force on Clinical Psychology of the European Federation of Professional Associations of Psychologists;

Psychology Award "to outstanding career and to the contribution made in the events of March 11 in Madrid." College of Psychologists of Eastern Andalusia (2004);

San Juan Huarte Prize of the College of Psychologists of Castilla-Leon (2006).

He is a member of the Consulting Board of CIEO.
