The conference will be held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve, Campus of Gambelas, Faro, Portugal.
The University of Algarve is a public higher education institution located in the southern part of Portugal, one of the most touristic regions of Portugal. The University’s core research and teaching areas are: science and technology, management and economy, earth and marine sciences, social sciences and more recently health.
The Faculty of Economics offers modern and excellent facilities for training, research and conferences: it has nine classrooms, five amphitheaters, an auditorium (up to 190 seats) and two computer labs. The Campus, surrounded by pine trees, is situated 6 km from Faro city and 2 km from Faro International Airport.
Faro, capital of Algarve region is a very enjoyable city located near Ria Formosa Natural Reserve. Its natural and cultural heritage richness invites to the discovery and offers pleasant moments in the visitors stay. This framework provides thus an excellent place to host international meetings. Faro is also easily reached by plane, train or bus. Faro international Airport is served by several major airlines.

The conference will be held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve, Campus of Gambelas, Faro, Portugal.

Conference Activities
- Registration desk, secretariat and plenary sessions will be running at the Faculty of Economics, building 9, level -1. The main entrance of the building is located opposite to the public bus stop (connecting the Campus to the city centre). The coffee-breaks will also be served in this building throughout the conference days;
- The paper sessions will take place in lecture rooms located at the building 9, second floor. Each room is equipped with a desktop computer and a video-projector;
- During the conference days there will be an exhibition of traditional products of Algarve region;
- The Gala Dinner will take place in Tavira, guests received by the mayor, town partner in the UNESCO group for the Mediterranean Diet award as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity;
- Saturday morning visit to the Market of Olhão, well-known town for its fish market and famous for hosting the annual seafood festival in August.
